You probably noticed that there's been very little posts of the Sisters Of Mercy. This happened because I felt that there was a overbombing of them since the blog started and the readers were getting bored, so I took a month off, from now on there will be less but still constant.

The best way to restart it's for sure to post  of this  exclusie Fan MultiCam DVD made by Sisterstekland AKA Pascal, who was kind enough to share it here, SO A HUGE THANK YOU TO HIM!

The Sisters of Mercy - Artmania, Sibiu, Romania - 13.08.2010 (DVD)

I wasn't intending to share this one here in the DCR, but after I posted the DIME link at Heartland, I got some PMs and e-mails from HLers asking me to post this one because they didn't had a DIME account.

All credit for taping and sharing goes to Satanic/ www.bloodbath.ro . It's a excellent audience recording, even if the taper is very far from stage and with the zoom almost always at the max, he still keeps a steady image dispite the fact that he didn't had a tripod, so an extra Shout Out Loud for his skills, Respect!

Was the first visit of the SoM in Romania, at one of the best festivals from here (Artmania). This version (i think exist more two - i see the videocameras in the venue) is a handy record. To put my tripod somewhere was to much for the promoters :)).

This dvd is not for sale. Was made by a fan for others fans so please, keep the original format, don't reencode, don't split (dual layers dvd's is very cheap and almost all dvd writers recognize this format), trade for free and go to concerts and buy official products!

The first concert of the 2010 tour, making it the live debut of "Rain From Heaven" and the first time "No Time To Cry" was played live in 25 years(!), also including "Body Electric" and "Floorshow" that were dropped from the setlist for the rest of the tour.

Lineage RAW Version: SP-CMC-8 Cardoids >> SP-Mini-BBox(9V) >> Edirol R09HR (24Bit/96Khz) >> Merging the Files in Audition andcutting a proper fade in/fade out, swapping channels correctly

Lineage Remastered Version: same as RAW Version + supressing limiter side-effects with Adobe Audition (using "Multiband Compressor" PlugIn)

I've splitted the tracks and converted them to FLAC Level 3 (circle)

Note:
The sound of this stunning performance was way more louder compared to the other Sisters gigs I've seen before.Unfortunately i've set up the rec level too high, that's why you can hear the limiter messing around withthe levels and suppressing the dynamics - the recording is still slightly distorted (very noticeable via headphone).
The remastered version of this recording has been treated with a multiband compressor to supress the limiter-effects a bit. I'm sorry for that and keep myself asking why I didn't check the levels after realizing that the show is gonna be much louder than expected. I was also trying to film some bits so mabe I was distracted with the other "tasks".

Since I didn't really like this recording I don't mind if you share it elsewhere,convert it into lossy formats etc. Feel free to do what ever you like as long as youkeep it for yourself or spread the stuff for free.
